Just reading this post on chant café from two years ago,

    http://www.chantcafe.com/2011/01/adam-bartlett-david-haas-and-simple.html

and struck by the need to say thanks again.

I can't remember how I found my way to these sites, but I did.

I regularly sing praise music, but also love chant and see it as the right thing for liturgy. but where to start.
I think I would have been one of the confused people in your workshop.

But here it all is, laid out for me... what propers are, and here they are in English for an easy start... and so much more to read and learn from. I can't tell you how grateful I am.

now that I am in a position to contribute again to parish mass music, I have resources thanks to you guys.

And so the revolution begins. Next week we will have a first communion Mass with English sung propers. And the first communion kids are part of the new schola. We don't sing at Mass but do Eucharistic Adoration. But all it will take is a few years of growing.
