OK, fess up, who auctioned their Campion Missal/Hymnal on ebay less than 2 months after it was published? :-)

I got a great deal on it, I'm guessing mainly because nobody thought of looking there for it.

This will go great with the 50 (new) copies we just ordered for our parish!

We are close to making the Campion official at our EF. We have one layman who is cranky about it, but not to worry--he is the "one" in the expression, "There's always one isn't there?" :)

What is there to be cranky about? It's a beautiful, comprehensive book!

Trust me, the cranks can always find something to crank about... :)

Let me guess, he's also the one that turns puce when the people chant 'Et cum spiritu tuo,' right? (Because they didn't do that in 1953.)

I didn't get the specifics of who it was and what the complaint was because the person I heard it from, bless him, didn't want to gossip, but my guess is that for this person there are only about seven acceptable hymns to use at an EF like Salve Regina, etc.

Or, better yet, no hymns at all?
