I am very happy, because someone from England just requested my services.
This person went HERE and found a beautiful motet by Palestrina. This motet is called MISSUS HERODES SPICULATORE, and it will be used in a few days.
He read on the site how I will provide words to my translations for a small fee. I am hoping more folks will use this service, because I have transcribed hundreds of pages from the Proske books. Some will say that Proske's editions are not very good, but I have to say that I feel they were done with skill. If someone finds something objectionable in them, it is not hard to fix.
I can easily provide the motets in any key, with keyboard reduction, practice midi files, etc.
If I find one more totally cool resource for music, I think I'll faint - and it's only Monday morning. How did I not know about this?
When I look at things like this, I feel the overwhelming urge to go hunting for a few men who can sing. (Don't laugh - that isn't easy down where I live.)
