Anyone else going to the march for life? I'd love to keep an eye out for other music geeks and maybe meet one of you by chance!
  • If all goes well - and certain children aren't having asthma issues due to cold weather - I'll be marching, walking, lounging about with my two H.S. boy/men. Email me at icantorivocals@hotmail.com and we can trade cell phone numbers....if you have a cellphone, that is. love to run into you Ben!

  • March for Life West Coast, right? Right? Because the bus ride from California to D.C. would be crazy.

  • Ok, I'll bite....is there one?
  • The day of Friday's March in DC, we're having two(!) sung Masses at Old St Mary's in Chinatown, before and after the March. Both are extraordinary form:

The first is at 8:00 am, and will be a memorial for the late Miss Nellie Gray, founder of the March for Life and a St Mary's parishioner.
The second is a Pontifical Mass at 6:00 pm celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Perry of Chicago, sponsored by Juventutem Michigan.
The parish schola, which I conduct, will sing at both Masses, along with polyphonic choirs. The schola will have a guest conductor for the evening Mass.

St. Mary's is at 727 Fifth St, NW, near the Gallery Place Metro, and not far from the Verizon Center. Would love to see some CMAA folks there.
