Primary function is to assist the bishop. Oversee all liturgical functions of St. James Cathedral for diocesan celebrations as well as those of the parish. Advances and supports the liturgical life of the diocese through quality diocesan and parish liturgies, pastoral and liturgical ministry training and spiritual formation. Experience in Roman Catholic Liturgy; Master’s degree in Liturgical Studies; Theology with Liturgical emphasis or related field. Minimum of 5 years success as a parish or diocesan liturgist; 3 years in pastoral administrative or supervisory role; solid praxis in Roman Catholic theology and tradition; proficient in Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel, and Access.
