Relocated Choir Member in Miami

    Friends,

    I know some of you are in the great State of Florida, but I don't know where. One of my basses, a young guy in his early 20s, just joined the Coast Guard and has been stationed in Miami Beach. He called me last night to see if I could recommend a church for him with a good choral program in which he might be able to get involved. I promised him I'd look into it. He's a fantastic singer/music reader, a true bass (audible LOW C), and a really nice guy.

    Any suggestions?

    Wish he could join our schola but it might be kind of far (1 hour one way).

    Michael, may I ask where your schola is located? This guy's a real go-getter and he just might be willing to make the commute.

    Sure, we are in West Palm Beach. We are finishing things up for this season on Sunday, but will start up again in the fall. It would be great to have him since I am starting with the men's group in the fall for an Advent solemn Vespers. Give him my email address moconnor09 AT comcast DOT net.
