A group member has a priest who wants a festive setting of the Mass sung at Christmas. I suggested that, since they are just beginning to sing the chant that it would make more sense to sing the chant instead of a new mass no one in the congregation knew.
I offered to sketch out festive accompaniments for the organ. This keeps them singing the chant and makes the pastor happy, too. No one loses!
Once again, they are sketches....please, no diatribes about not singing chant accompanied. Note that half the Glory is unaccompanied!
