On Sunday, October 2, 2011, Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Newman Center invites all interested parties to explore two treasures of the Church: the Mass and Gregorian Chant. Starts with a free beginner's chant workshop on Gregorian chant by the Cathedral Chant School from 1:30-3:30 p.m., followed by a talk on the new translation of the Mass at 4 p.m. Both will be concluded by Sunday Mass at 5 p.m., featuring the Cathedral Chant School and the Saint Francis of Assisi Newman Center Choir.
