Maternity of Mary Organist Position

Description:
Maternity of Mary Catholic Church in St. Paul, MN is seeking an organist to play one, two, or all three Masses per weekend on our Casavant Frères, a Baroque tracker organ with 22 ranks and mechanical key and stop action. The organist for the 10:30am Sunday Mass will also accompany the adult choir rehearsal one evening per week (excluding summer months) under the direction of the music director.

Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience playing the organ
Practicing Catholic preferred
Knowledge of sacred music and church hymnody
Availability during the week for funerals is a plus
Ability to effectively lead the cantor and congregation
