WLP was very nice to me, plus I got several complaints about my lack of in-depth study on previous reviews. For those two reasons, I spent more time on these than the others.
(Oh yeah- also: WLP's settings are much better, which made it a whole lot easier to spend more time on them.)
Obviously the general populace of this forum will have differing opinions than me about the suitability of WLP's Contemporary offerings. But, I few "mitigating factors" should be considered before long rants about WLP is just like all the rest of those commercial publishers who just don't get what the Church wants/demands...
1. WLP offers several chant-based, or chant-inspired settings. 2. WLP's Contemporary stuff is remarkably high quality. You might not think it's appropriate to Mass, but it's not Disney World and bad Elton John. This is good stuff.
Overall I was very impressed with the music, and also with their general usefulness.
