Liber usualis question

    A friend sent me a note about an interesting Liber Usualis that came across his desk. It is all in Latin (including the introduction on neume interpretation), but all the chants are printed in modern notation.

    Does anyone know of this animal?

    I've seen them before; there's a web site offering PDFs.

    The modern notation versions are indicated with a "c" after the edition number: 780c, 801c, 800c, etc.

    Perhaps because of those who complained that the old LU looked like Greek ... er Gregorian ... to them.

    Michael, Corpus Christi Watershed has made numerous modern notation editions available for free and instant download.

    Numerous Solesmes editions in modern notation can also be found there, along with thousands of pages of rare chant books.
