What Jared said. Dialogue and compromise (as opposed to, for instance, hostage negotiation and discussing terms of surrender) are possible when there is common ground on non-negotiables. I can dialogue with someone who believes Our Lord's crucifixion is an atoning sacrifice (there are priests preaching it isn't), that the Mass is primarily a sacrifice and the Eucharist is His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity; that abortion, contraception, and homosex are always grave evils; and that only males can receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders. Anything else is like dialoguing with zombies about your brains.

HAHAHAHA!!!! I really did Laugh Out Loud on that one! perfect analogy. Visiting PT is like going to the zombies own house. But unlike what it says in the song, they're also gonna want your eyes too, however.

I was spurned at PT because of the meal versus sacrifice argument. They tried to take my head off and get to my brains... never going back there.
