    This past Sunday we noticed the misplaced clef in the Gloria Patri. (Our music director at St. Paul's in Cambridge downloads the introits from Joqueschant.org.) Amazingly, even our experienced singers took some time to figure why it was sounding a bit odd.

    Yes, Randolf: that is correct. The Gregorian Missal misprinted "VI" as "IV".

    That error threw my Cathedral Schola three years in a row ...

    No. 1 looks okay to me. The reference to vv. 10 and 11 for psalm 71 doesn't follow the normal pattern for the Gregorian Missal, but these are in fact the 2nd and 3rd vv. one would sing with this Introit.

    I noticed the wong mode in the "Esto mihi" last week, too. It's cowwect in the Twiplex and in the Libew. It's a good catch to get it wight.
