    Friends,

In the USA, do priests have the option to celebrate the Feast of the SACRED HEART on a Sunday?

In the 1962 Missal, priests were allowed to do this. They called it the "External Solemnity of the Sacred Heart."

In the 1962 missal, priests were also allowed to celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi on Sunday. ("The External Solemnity")

In the USA, I believe the feast of Corpus Christi has pretty much been MOVED to the Sunday, unless I'm wrong.

Sacred Heart is celebrated on Friday in the OF and is not in the US calendar as transferred to Friday; one local calendrical exception would be if it is a titular solemnity, in which case it can be transferred to a Sunday.

Yes, I believe that is the case. Corpus Christi is celebrated on Sunday in the USA Calendar. Sacred Heart is not - unless it is titular - for example a parish named in honor of the Sacred Heart, etc.
