I just downloaded MuseScore, which is a free music writing/editing program. I was wondering if anyone knew the pros/cons of this software. I am trying to avoid paying for something like Finale if I don't have to...

I use MuseScore constantly and it works well for me. Unlike some versions of finale (I think just the free ones) you can use different voices in one staff, makes hymn writing easy. I really like it!
