I have to plan the music for a Mass to mark the canonisation of Bl Mary McKillop (very important in Australia and here in New Zealand) on 17 October- the same day she will be canonised in Rome. Suggestions for appropriate choral motets would be gratefully received. Time is short ,so moderate difficulty is as much as we will be able to consider. Latin or English. I'm particularly interested in what comes to the mind of experienced choir directors when asked to honour a female saint. I haven't had to do it before.
All help and advice greatly appreciated.
