I'm laughing as I recall the comment of a rather negative choir member who was heard to say that in publishing I was "making money off the church". This from a government employee whom you and I that live in the US pay through our taxes!
You have to make money somehow. If the thin margins you produce on things like this and the Catholic Choir Books, and the Chant Instructionals, and everything else you do gives you more time to create those resources and help out fellow musicians, I don't understand why anyone would complain. Especially since they always have the option of not buying. (And they REALLY have that option since you give away so much of your material).
But, as we say in InterEspantoLatifakefake: Zum publicas, estupido es.
