    Just heard that Austin Lovelace died at the age of 91 on April 25. We may not like everything he wrote, but he certainly had a long, successful career.

    He arranged a nice setting of the Basque Carol (The Angel Gabriel.) Unfortunately, it is now out of print.

    I always thought of him as a down-the-line Methodist, but the last few years he was publishing at Paraclete Press, and there is a nice interview online with him at their Website- that's how I knew he had died.
