I am trying to find all of the verses and the music notation (square or round) of the tropes for the solemn Salve Regina.
Three verses (below) are in the Cd booklet by Konrad Ruhland in his Gregorian Chant album with the Niederaltaicher Scholaren.
Thanks,
Reiner Gerdes.
Virgo mater ecclesiae
eterna porta gloriae
esto nobis refugium
apud patrem et filium
O Clemens . . .
Virgo clemens, virgo pia
virgo dulcis o Maria
exaudi preces omnium
ad te pie clamantium
O pia …
Funde preces tuo nato
crucifixo vulnerato
et pro nobis flagellato
spinio puncto felle potato
O mitis …
I believe I have what you are looking for- It is the SARUM USE Solemn Salve, with the above tropes. I have it written out in square notation by Dr Mary Berry (Cambridge) and would be very happy to share it with you. If you would like to send me an email I could send you a copy. moravocis@mac.com
