I thought I'd share with you some photos that I took at the British Library in London. In the lobby they had a large kiosk where you could electronically browse high-quality images from various books.
These photos were taken from an English hymnal - I apologize that I didn't get its name. But you can see that the artwork is stunning. I found the text incredibly hard to read, though, as it's so heavily stylized.
