    Friends,

Here is a beautiful Responsorial Psalm for Thanksgiving Day by Richard Rice.

Also, here is a Responsorial Psalm for Thanksgiving by me (organist score) (vocalist score). Here is an Mp3 audio recording (for practice).

(The Psalm, including congregational insert, can be found HERE.)

    Mr. Ostrowski,
Do you have any idea how many parishes in the world are using your site's Psalm settings exclusively?

    Jeffrey:

YW. You compose beautiful Psalms. I really like your setting of Psalm 23 and use that one exclusively for funerals.

Thank you so much for these positive comments!!!!

I am extremely excited about how much I have been able to learn over the past 2.5 years of composing Chabanel Psalms, and I can promise one thing: "The best is yet to come!!!!!"

Psalm went well. Small choir and cantor. Thanks so much. Happy Thanksgiving.

We also used your setting here in Ohio. Went well, as they always do. We use a setting from Chabanel every week (well 99% of the time... typically Aristotle's, though we vary.)

    For Advent we're using:
Advent I: In honor of holy John Houghton: & Edmund Brindholm
    Advent II: Arlene Oost-Zinner
    Immaculate Conception: Aristotle
    Advent III: Guilmont (non-Chabanel)
    Advent IV: Aristotle

    matthewj,

Increasingly, I find myself looking at what those other composers do and being "inspired" (copying!)
