I wanted to try something slightly more expansive this choral season, so I put this formulation together, using music from the Graduale Parvum.

I believe the intention was for these to be begun in a manner similar to the Gregorian alleluias on which the melodies were mostly based. Imagine an asterisk and an ij. at that first half-bar, and execute similarly.
