Dear Estimable Composers and Colleagues,

The Church of the Blessed Sacrament in the University District of Seattle is excited to announce what we hope will be an annual competition in liturgical composition. The full details are in the competition outline which is both hereto attached and available at the link below. Among the more pertinent details are:

Nearly $8,000 in total prize money
Guaranteed publication of the first-place composition
Recording of the three prize winning compositions by a fully professional choir on an album to be released on the Navona label through Parma records
Some degree of remuneration for all competitors chosen for the final round
