Peace, everyone. Here is a new text of mine for national life. I suggest it be paired with ST. ELIZABETH, better known as "Fairest Lord Jesus."

1. O Theotokos,
Bearer of the Godhead,
Mirror of Justice, Queen of Peace,
In sin and sorrow,
In pain and tumult,
Your presence bids our anguish cease.

2. O Virgin Mary,
Maid beyond all beauty,
You met an angel face to face;
Now Queen of angels,
Still do you call us
To love our foes in truth and grace.

3. O Blessed Mother,
Bravest among women,
You stood beneath Christ's Holy Cross;
Grant us the courage
To bear ours daily,
Remembering His love for us.

4.Hail, Theotokos,
Crowned with stars of Heaven!
Let this our nation fast and pray;
May we, poor sinners,
Be cleansed of evil
And stand with saints at Judgment Day.
