The Office of Music Ministry for the Diocese of Bridgeport is seeking a tenor for the professional schola at the Cathedral of St. Augustine in Bridgeport, beginning September and continuing through June 2026 at the 10am Bishop’s Mass. The stipend is $140 per Mass, with a 9am call time – no mid-week rehearsal. Music will be sent via email in advance, and will consist of traditional hymnody, service music and two short choral anthems/motets each week. Additional opportunities are available for several diocesan events in the pastoral year. Special stipends for these events range from $150-$175.
The Cathedral is located at 359 Washington Avenue in Bridgeport, at the intersection of Rt. 8 and I-95.
