St. Barnabas Catholic Church located in Indianapolis is seeking a full-time Director of Music. Qualified applicants should be a professional who holds specialized credentials in music and who has a thorough understanding of Catholic liturgy. Responsibilities include the effective planning, coordination, and execution of music within the liturgical celebrations of the parish. Strong musical proficiency in piano is required. Vocalist preferred but not required. Proficiency in playing the organ would be considered an asset. Bachelor's degree in music or other equivalent academic background in liturgical music is a plus.
