My late Father wrote music for three Catholic Masses which are approved by the Bishops’ Conference for use and for publishing throughout England and Wales - I don't know what this permission means for outside the UK. They are the Mass of St Anne, the Walsingham Mass and the Mass of St Thomas More (Kyrie, Gloria, Sancus, Agnus Dei). They were composed with amateur choirs in mind.
Also a Short Mass of St Thomas More (a Missa Brevis) has been extracted from the Mass of St Thomas More. It was written for children and works well for beginner choirs.
These masses were often sung at St Thomas More in Seaford, East Sussex, where Tom was choirmaster and organist, and before that in at St Edwards in Romford, Essex. All music composed and arranged by Thomas More Hagger (1950-2023)
His wish was that most of his music be available for free for religious services and schools. You can register for free to download a PDF for all the parts at https://windmill-music.org/viewPage/750/2.
Unforunately I only have recordings for the Mass of St Anne (I've posted the a cappella versions but music has optional organ arrangement) - if anyone does use and record any of his music in the future I would very much appreciate a copy.
