For all the celebrations of the saints, it is possible to choose either:
- the chants given below;
- others from the commons (as above pp. 397-530), according to the rubric in the Roman Missal for a given saint;
- or chants, either from the proper or the common, in the Graduale Romanum (1908 and later editions).
On solemnities and feasts, the Introit "Gaudeamus" can always be sung, if the proper words of the mystery or the saint to be celebrated can be inserted in the melody.
