Organist/Music Director, part-time. Possibility for full time combined with music teacher in parish school (must be Catholic)
1. Familiarity with the music and liturgical practices of the Catholic Church
2. BM or MM in Music
3. Experience with directing choirs, cantors and organizing the weekly requirements of music for a parish including the advanced planning of hymns and liturgical music
4. Organ, choral and vocal skills necessary to build and sustain a music program
5. Ability to recruit musicians, organize music liturgies, work with amateur and professional musicians in addition to the skills to motivate, encourage and lead ensembles of both
6. An adherence to professional standards regarding music, presentation and communication with members of the clergy, staff and parish
7. Skills in developing and working with the available finances needed to maintaining a quality music program
8. 3 Masses per weekend plus special seasonal Masses
9. Extra compensation for funerals/wedding
