I am trying to help 2 young missionaries learn to sing for Lauds. They can't seem to find sources for the Benedicamus. Can anyone suggest a source for the Latin Lauds before Vatican II? I don't even know where to look..... Thanks for any guidance you can give me.
At https://musicasacra.com/resource-lists/ the "Antiphonale Romanum (1960)" book is the standard resource for all day hours around the year, Benedicamus tones are back in the Toni communes section.
If you have physical copies of Liber usualis (copies of the Antiphonale are less common), the Benedicamus tones are also included there (look in the section with ordinary chants of the office), but only the Sunday and festal ones.
