As part of my series on Catholic hymns, I chose a hymn that honors the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This hymn was composed by a Catholic musician from Cleveland, Ohio. He was a composer of both secular and sacred music, a teacher of organ technique and composition for more than forty years. He served at two Catholic parishes and was involved in directing and accompanying various organ recital’s, holiday concerts, and charity benefits. Please take a few moments to read about this composer and his contributions to Catholic music.
