In Liber Cantualis the heading for the opening Compline hymn (pg. 112, no. 104) reads “HYMNUM” when one would expect “HYMNUS.” While granting the possibility of spelling and gender variations in a language active hundreds of years over vast geographical regions, isn’t this just an uncharacteristic misprint?
