This may be a bit of a novice-level question, but are there psalm verses somewhere which could be attached to "Juxta Vestibulum" in order to repeat in an antiphon-verse-antiphon-verse style until the action has ceased? Is this licit (in OF world)? If so, where might I find said verses? Thanks in advance.
None are given, old or new, that I can find. But it is an antiphon, and it wouldn't be terrible to use it that way. Any likely penitential Psalm could be used; Graduale Simplex, p.86, has a setting of Psalm 50 in mode IV. You might even consider the verses of the hymn Parce Domine, if you are not using it elsewhere.
