I don't know for absolute certain, but my Ordo says that no funerals may be celebrated until the morning of January 14th.

The Official Office must be the Office of the Octave of Christmas, however, the Office of the Dead could probably be said in addition to the Office of the Octave, just like the Little Office of Our Lady or the Little Office of St. Joseph.

For the OF Mass for the dead on learning of the death is permitted today, Saturday, unless locally it is a feast or solemnity.

Thanks everyone. We decided, we will do it when they have the funeral so we can do all the hours and the mass etc... instead of part this part that.
