St. Peter Church in Danbury, CT is seeking a baritone section leader. $70 per call. Commitment includes Thursday evening rehearsals, Sunday 10:30 Mass (9:30 call), monthly Friday evening events (vespers, concerts etc.), Christmas, Holy Week, etc.

Section leaders not only support our volunteer choir, but also sing together as a quartet (the St. Peter Schola) to supplement liturgical music at Mass and other liturgies. They also serve as cantors on a rotational basis. Availability to sing at funerals will bring in added income.

We sing traditional music from Gregorian chant and polyphony to contemporary motets. We are a Novus Ordo parish, but we incorporate traditional music into our liturgies.
