choir director/chant instructor needed for Monastery in NYC
  • I'm looking for someone experienced in Gregorian Chant English and Latin, voice training for a monastic choir in New York. This isn't a full time job but someone who would be committed to coming to the Monastery weekly to teach the nuns chant and prepare them for the Sunday Mass and daily Mass for the following week. Also, to help the nuns with vocal training. Mainly an older community of nuns but they sing chant well, just their experience of learning new music and especially chant is limited. We would be mostly using Fr. Weber's books and Kyriale.

This is not a volunteer position but we would agree on the weekly fee, etc.
  • I would reach out to Jennifer Donnelson, she might be able to help you. https://jenniferdonelson.com
