Pardon me if this has been shared before. I came across these addenda of assigned propers in my copy of Graduale Triplex which I received recently. Interestingly, it includes propers for the Vigils of Epiphany and Ascension, among a short addition of relatively new saints.
Getting rid of the Common of Holy Popes was a good thing, which does deserve credit, and especially in sung Masses, I feel very much inclined to ignore this even in the preconciliar form which does have this common, but they whiffed the Vigil of the Epiphany. It's the Sunday Mass transferred to the 5th in order to allow for other Masses to be said on the intervening days, and I'm pretty sure that the propers selected here are not it. In other words, the tradition as passed into the missal of St Pius V is correct… :(
