Having read the article, I have the distinct impression that "hair on fire" is not a warranted response.
He took and passed a criminal background check. Not fond of these, but this one acts in his defense. He's 66 years old. Not a crime. Someone connected to the Church managed to download child pornography. This is evil. He has a long established record of having neither the inclination to view this stuff nor the capacity to gain access to it. Add to that that he's a busy Catholic priest, and he does not have motive or opportunity.
