There's one by the RCCO Toronto Centre - but it's just basically the history and specs of various organs in Toronto. I like it but it's quite specialized.

I have a scholarly book which might stand in as a 'coffee table book'; Its title is very simply The King of Instruments. Published by Rizzoli, the author is Bernard Sonnailles, translated from the French by Stewart Spencer.

This is not a mere picture Book. It contains a detailed account of the history of organ building and essays on the organ of every country and area of Europe. With many beautiful colour illustrations it is a coffee table book that is much more that a coffee table book. It is bound in dark red cloth. It is about 11" x 11" x 1 1/2".

I certainly hope not. He either had his fingers out of position on the keyboard or he has been in the cordials cabinet again. The book sounds interesting.

That is an excellent book. I read it years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think there’s a sequel too.
