    I am seeking a congregational or choral recording—not solo vocal or instrumental—of what I'll call the traditional Methodist Sanctus (attached, from the Cokesbury Hymnal). Does anyone have one or know where I might find one? A somewhat unusual request for this forum, I know!

    Having been raised in the Methodist Church, I grew up singing this Sanctus with Preface at Communion. But, alas, I know of no recording as requested. Sung by choir &/or congregation, it is quite stirring, though. It's no. 584 in The Methodist Hymnal (1939).

    A bit or two dated, with a faint XIXth century air about it - but all told, it's a far cry better than what is sung at the typical Catholic mass.
