Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (The Bronx, NY - Archdiocese of NY) invites applicants for the position of full-time Director of Music Ministry. Duties include 3 weekend Masses (5:30 PM on Saturdays, and 8:00 AM and 12:45 PM on Sundays), a 9:30 AM Mass on Sundays in July and August, feast days and solemnities throughout the year, occasional school Masses and graduations, funerals and weddings (to which the Director of Music Ministry has the right of first refusal), and directing the Traditional Choir. The organ is a 2013 rebuild of a 1920s Peragallo, maintained regularly and in excellent condition, in a reverberant Italianate - Neo-Romanesque building. The salary is in the low $30k range, not including funerals and weddings, and excellent benefits are available.
