This composition sets Ubi Caritas to three voices (SAA, but could be sung an octave down). The top line is the chant melody, which should be approachable for beginners. I borrowed stylistically from both the Durufle and the Dalitz settings, trying to combine elements of both. Free PDF and recording here:
Thank you, very nice. For the OF the antiphonal response was altered to read Ubi caritas est vera, Deus ibi est, "after certain very early manuscripts". I am curious to know what manuscripts those are, but I was never quite comfortable with amor. The theme is broadly taken from St John's epistles, and I don't think he uses amor.
