Director of Music Ministry at St. Louis Catholic Church and Bishop Louis Reicher Catholic School
The Director of Music Ministry at St. Louis and Bishop Louis Reicher Catholic School fulfills the mission of the church by providing organizational and musical support for the pastor within the framework of the parish’s philosophy, organization, and policies. The Music Director aids the pastor by coordinating the various choir directors, choirs, accompanists, cantors, and music ministry volunteers to ensure sacred music for Sunday’s and principal liturgical feasts of the parish liturgical life. The Director of Music also aids the president and principal of Bishop Louis Reicher in the re-establishment of a choral program for the High School and Middle School grade levels, including the implementation of a music curriculum. The school is transitioning to a classical model of instruction in which the music education program should play an integral role in the school's life. The Music Director has decision making responsibilities within essential job functions, in keeping with parish policies.
