Latin chant only?

I'm a fan of the Anonymous 4, and found a copy of "[Pe] milde lomb isprad o rode" [track 2 from The Lily & the Lamb] at the local college music library. I believe this hymn is in old English or something similar. Are hymns or chants in languages other than Latin acceptable to use during the EF Mass?

The text sounds like Middle English.
