I came across Regina Caeli jubilo and thought it would be manageable by my choir.

However I want to use it for the feast of the assumption, and also to put the verses into english, while retaing the latin for the repeated refrain.

So borrowing from the original I've penned the following verses, and would appreciate any feedback or helpful comment.

Rejoice, O, Mary, heav'nly queen, (Gaude O maria)
O wondrous Sign in heaven seen, (Alleluia, Laetaere O Maria, Maria)

For with your ‘Yes’ you gave Him room
And bore Him in your virgin womb

The Son you bore by heaven's grace,
Now leads you to your heav’nly place

And He now crowns you with His love
To reign as Queen from Heaven above

We are your children, O New Eve
With joy your blessings we receive

Very much appreciate this! I adore macaronic hymnody and this will help to put this beloved tune into the ears and voices of more people.

you may want to edit the youtube link as it points you back to this page.

I'd like to see if you could manage to work "fiat" instead of "yes" into the second verse.

"As Queen from Heaven above" - you may want to put an apostrophe in "Heav'n"

"O New Eve" - I don't love how "New" falls on an unstressed musical note. Is there a similar title which could fit into the form "TRO-chee Eve"?

You probably tried to tell the editor that it was a link, you should just paste in the link, with no fancy bits, the software will make it a link.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0lK1sISidY is all that is necessary, NB with spaces before and after.

Did Praetorius recycle this music from "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen"?
