I imagine this has already been done to death - I've already looked through some of the threads. But why not toss out a few more names? Currently I'm on a big eastern kick and can't get over how beautiful Alfred Schnittke's sacred music is - incl these shatteringly wonderful two minutes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q80wuUPb7V0 and so much more. Just looking for more contemporary masterpieces to listen to, your absolute favourites, sacred, choral, or neither. Bonus points for links to recordings if available.
