    Hello folks1

    I am looking for a chant version of Benedictus Dominus Deus Israel for an edition I am preparing of Louis-Nicolas Clérambault's Livre de Pièces d'Orgue. This would be, preferably, of 17th or early 18th-century origin. So far, I haven't found a single copy. I wonder if anyone might be able to help.

    Are you matching Clerambault's suites with the Benedictus? These were conceived of for the Magnificat, but they were used for the Benedictus as well. You would simply sing the Benedictus to the psalm tone that matches the ton of Clerambault's versets.
