    Maybe both? The tune is familiar, but have never seen those words before.

    May be, but I have seen the big 3 publish things that were just as bad.

  • Doggerel set to an impeccably fine tune.
    Perhaps it is a classroom rime
    for unfortunate children who are thought to be idiots who are taught by idiots?

    From their website:
    Ostensibly Catholic Press. We are most assuredly not affiliated with Oregon Catholic Press. This is a parody account, obvs.

    Well, it’s a very coarse paraphrased summation of BXVI’s book by that name.

    Yes, I think that's the plan. Good ideas, put into a goofy verse.

    Add a sharp to the key signature but don't change anything else. Perform in canon.
  • Liam,

    Which sharp?

    C-sharp.
  • Perhaps you jest?
    It's needless of a sharp the way it is.
    The tune is, in case you didn't notice, the venerable Tallis' Canon.
  • Jackson,

    I think Liam's kidding.

    Yes, I was. I thought it was obvious enough that purple would gild the lily, as it were.

    I don't know how to turn my typing purple so when I am ironic or sarcastic you will have to guess.

    It is too much work or too hard so I ..
    purple=ON

    This approach has many uses ..
    sarcasm=ON

    Of course you can adapt organist registration shorthand
    +purple -purple +sarcasm -sarcasm

    or develop your own style.

    simple coding... not necessary to use purple color on text... use this instead... send same message loud and clear without getting into learning or employing html

    [purple] hahahahahahahha [/purple]

    following also very handy and not in html 5.0

    [soapbox] this is my opinion [/soapbox]

    [vaticanIIdirective] avoid when definitely veers from magisterium (i.e. explicit Catholic dogma) [/vaticanIIdirective]

    [magisteriumApproved] present pope is not be-all-end-all-of-redefining-church-doctrine [/magisteriumApproved]

    If you need sources for these tags, let me know.

    btw... I am up to 7,808 posts! (a humble bow to the moderators of the CMAA forum for allowing me to speak my mind since 2005 when I joined... [which always intends to be the unchanging mind of the OHCA]) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Marks_of_the_Church

    Thank you but this is more trouble than it's worth.

    But the html hints are very well written!

    But I will have to look for how to turn it off now.

    I hope that did it. Wow, it worked!
