From 1960-1965, I often sang the Latin funeral Mass. Recently, I mentioned to my priest how much I loved singing it. His eyes lit up and talked about singing the "Requiem" on All Souls Day. Now, I looking for sheet music for the Latin funeral Mass. It's been over 50 years and I've got a lot of practicing to do! Any help with finding the music will be greatly appreciated and/or even a video of it would help.
Note that the link CGZ gives is for chants of the extraordinary form of the mass (1962), which are similar but not identical to those for the ordinary form. The booklets linked to by a_f_hawkins are for the ordinary form.
If you need the chants for the Requiem mass in the ordinary form, they can be found in the 1974 Graduale Romanum, pp. 669ff.
Most obviously the dropping of the sequence Dies irae in the OF. There is also the Graduale Simplex giving some extra simple alternatives for OF (p401 of the book, 419? of the pdf).
(1) tone and versification of introit verse is different (2) no Kyrie - though one is given in the 1974 Graduale (there is some discussion about this) (2) alleluia replaces Tract except during Lent (3) offertory verse ("Hostias") is optional (4) "Subvenite" sung at end of mass ("final commendation") instead of at entrance to church (5) other options are given for the traditional chants
