By popular request, the HYMN FEST FOR OUR LADY will be held twice this season in eastern Massachusetts:
In the Diocese of Fall River, at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, on Sunday, May 20, at 4 p.m.
In the Archdiocese of Boston, at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in Ipswich, on Tuesday, May 22, at 2 p.m.
Traditional Marian "old favorites" (see list below) will be played by organist Peter Krasinski of St. Paul's Choir School, Cambridge. Tenor Mark Nemeskal will lead the sing-along, and Peter Meggison will introduce each hymn offering a brief reflection on the hymn's history and significance in Catholic devotional life. Join us down this trip through "memory lane" as we honor Our Lady in this special way in her month of May! Admission is free.
